We enter this world radiating with purity. Yet by the time we reach adulthood, we have been layered and imprinted with other people’s energetic residue which informs our emotional patterns, physical postures and energetic states, placing strain on our current lives.

Reiki 1 for Self-Healing is a restorative workshop which deepens your connection to your higher well-being, certifies you in Level 1 of Reiki, educates you on the energetic centers and how to identify imbalances, and teaches you meditation techniques to clear and strengthen your energetic field.

Start the new year off by inspiring your well-being! Join Jennifer Brinn and Michelle Roy for this day-long retreat of Reiki instruction, meditation and yoga to deepen our internal knowledge, awaken our spirit and restore the body. During the day we will also participate in a healing Reiki circle soothed by the sound therapy of crystal bowls.

All levels are welcome! Those who are already attuned to Reiki are especially encouraged to join us as we offer this also as a continuing education class to learn how to use Reiki for Self-Healing.

Jennifer Brinn

Jennifer is a Master Reiki Therapist/Teacher and Wellness Coach with a private practice in San Francisco. Her work guides, inspires, informs and introduces people to their authentic state of being. She has led workshops on energy management, intention-building, meditation and ecstatic dance at Yoga of Sausalito, Yoga Tree, and San Francisco Buddhist Center.

What is Reiki?

Reiki is a channeling of pure chi which allows the body an opportunity to restore its innate healing abilities. It offers the body a deeply quiet place, allowing relaxation in the physical body, quieting the emotional mind, and strengthening the energetic body. Becoming attuned to Reiki offers an increased awakening of the spirit. When attuned to Reiki, the body's electromagnetic field increases, allowing for a higher opportunity of healing.
